Principle of STEMATIC Systems

The principle of the STEMATIC regulation is always same!

One only alters whether graphics or text is represented.

Here can under the OP45; PP114 and the PP210 panel is chosen.

Only the protocols, interfaces and the representation of the current values are different.

Graphic representation is possible in monocrom or color.

Protocols are available sufficiently at the interface of the Panels ( RS232C and RS422; ETHERNET USB).

( example MODBUS; ALLEN BRADLEY; GE FANUC; OMRON; SIEMENS and many more)

The STEMATIC regulation works after following principle:

Three or more ultrasound sensors set at intervals of 120 degrees are attached to a frame or to a supporting or sizing basket.

The ultrasound signal should hit the film at the level of the "frost line" if the film bubble has been filled properly.

If a sizing or supporting basket is used to attach the sensors, they can be set to the height of the frost line by means of the height adjuster (e.g., when changing format).

The distance from the sensors to the middle of the mould up to the ultrasound membrane should be maintained precisely in order to avoid errors when measuring the diameter of the film.

The regulator is designed to control actuators (e.g., IBC-IN ) located in the air.

(Control signal +-10V and / or (0) 4-20 mA.)

A constant change of the actual value as opposed to the set value has a rapid effect on the regulated output. This rapid change should be carried out without delay.

This means that the actuator (frequency inverter) must react immediately (ramp times < 10 seconds for the electrical brake,RESISTOR.).

A brake is required, for example, to brake the centrifugal force of the fan (dynamic behaviour).
